Every other page here counts domains. This one asks whether anyone wanted them a second year. Keep rate is the share of domains reaching a renewal decision that were renewed rather than deleted — Jun 2025 – May 2026, from the registries' own monthly reports to ICANN.

A keep rate is not a survival rate. A domain registered for three years reaches a decision once, not annually, so a TLD sold on long terms shows fewer renewals and fewer deletions rather than a different ratio. Renewals include auto-renewals, deletions include names dropped in the grace period, and transfers are excluded — a transfer is not a renewal decision, though it often carries one. How this is computed.

683 monthly filings report deleting more domains than the TLD has ever held. Those rates are shown as filed and marked filing, with the figure excluding the impossible month beside them. Nothing is silently dropped.
