Every applicant in the 2026 round
All 480 organisations that filed in ICANN's 2026 new gTLD round. The round is far more concentrated than its application count suggests — the largest applicant filed over a hundred and most filed one — which is the shape a top-fifteen chart cannot show.
Reading the last column
"TLDs today" is the size of the estate this applicant already operates, and it is filled in only where the organisation name ICANN publishes matches a registry operator in our data exactly. Corporate groups routinely file through a different legal entity from the one that signed their 2012 agreements, so a blank is not evidence that an applicant is new to the root. Under-matching is deliberate: a fuzzy match would also join companies that merely look alike, and nothing on the page would tell you which you were looking at. The same caveat applies to the Already run TLDs filter above.
Data currency. Domain counts on this page are from zone files dated and refresh daily. Registrar figures are from ICANN's monthly registry reports for June 2026, which ICANN publishes about three months in arrears; zone files contain no registrar information, so no fresher source exists.
